Mahatma Gandhi Library in collaboration with a number of organizations such as ICC, India House, Gujarati Sahitya Sarita, Unity Peacemakers and many other organizations commemorated Shraddhanjali to Mahatma Gandhi on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Unity Peacemakers to hold "Wisdom of Gandhi" workshop
Unity Peacemakers of Unity Church will its annual Wisdom of Gandhi workshop on four Sundays as follows: Sunday, February 1, 2009, Sunday, February 8, 2009, Sunday, February 15, 2009 and Sunday, February 22, 2009.

The workshop will be held at Unity Church 2929 Unity Drive · Houston, TX 77057. Each session is about 1 1/2 hour long starting at 1 PM.

From someone who has participated in these workshops in the past I can assure that they will be well worth your time. If you want to know the guiding principles which inspired Gandhi and how you can implement them in your own life then please be sure to sign up for these classes.

Booth at celebration of India's Republic Day on Sunday, January 25, 2009
Mahatma Gandhi Library hosted a booth at the celebration of India's Republic Day on Sunday, January 25, 2009. It was quite a busy booth. A large number of visited the booth and have become member of Mahatma Gandhi Library. many of the visitors also acquired many books from the booth.

Many many thanks to Mahatma Gandhi Library members who volunteered their time at the booth. The volunteers at the booth were Deepak Bhatt, Mahesh Gandhi, Rita Kothari, Atul Kothari, Satish Parikh, Jayesh Shah and Vishakha Shah.
