MGL at World Refugee Day

Mahatma Gandhi Library participated in Houston's annual World Refugee Day held on June 25th at the Baker-Ripley Neighborhood Center. This project aims to raise awareness about the challenges and triumphs that refugees face in the 21st century. Along with raising awareness, the city celebrates the vast cultural diversity in Houston.

As part of the carnival setting, MGL educated the masses on what we do and why we do what we do. This carnival setting also became another good venue to publicize the poster contest for this year.
